Hello, I found interesting issues with chat room (conference).
I run Gajim on Desktop and Conversation on Android.
I've created Chat room. From time to time when I am trying to connect with gajim I've received message: "Unable to join to group chat" conference_name is full.
But at the same time my Conversation client correctly connected to the conference and working normally. Also at the same time other conference owner could connect to the conference with Gajim. But not me. My server is Ejabberd and limit's set to default (200 members). Can someone help me ?
Could you open XML console before you join the room, and show us the exchanged stanza when you join and have the problem?

what they have is
Too many users in this conference or You have joined too many conferences

Some additional information. This message only appear when I start Gajim (because I've bookmarked chatroom and marked "Auto join " ) [image: Screenshot_267.png]

When I close this window and double click to conference room at the contact list, new Conference windows appear without any information. [image: Screenshot_269.png]

My observation:
This issue depend's on connection priority. Scenarios 1. If Conversation firstly connected to the conference, then Gajim cannot connect to the same conference. Failed. Scenarios 2. If Gajim firstly connect to the conference, then Conversation can be connected to the same conference. Success.

Weird,
seems we get a presence error code 503.
You should set the same nickname on both clients, try that

I've updated Conversation to the latest version and problem disappear. It seems that bug was in android app.

Only one client could join to the conference. When Conversation joined, Gajim cannot join. When Gajim joined, Conversation cannot join.

Hi,
Show this to your Server Operator.
The Message Gajim gives is not correct. The Chatroom is not full. But we cant join it.
Server tells us

Nothing we can do about that.
