Gajim-0.16.6 released

Hi all, Gajim 0.16.6 has been released. Changelog can be found here: https://hg.gajim.org/gajim/file/gajim-0.16.6/ChangeLog Where can you get it? Tarball, windows installer can be downloaded here: https://gajim.org/downloads.php Debian package is on ftp.gajim.org repository. Just add that to your source.list: deb ftp://ftp.gajim.org/debian unstable main then apt-get install gajim Don't hesitate to open a ticket if you find a problem. -- Gajim Team

Delayed update of the roster status

Good time of the day everyone, When I want to ping a user who appears to be online, away etc., and double-click their roster item, they quite often drop down into the offline section. Further down the road I find out from them that they have been offline for quite some time when I tried to ping them, even though I was staring at their green/amber/red icon for an hour beforehand. Is the roster update not done on a regular basis? If it matters, I connect to Ignite OpenFire Jabber server over XMPP. Thank you Alex
