Vcard info window patch
by Bart Kreska 08 May '06

Hi, I've noticed that Gajim does not wrap text in os_label (label showing content of /etc/release file). If content is long enough, vcard information window may exceed screen width. Attached patch turns this: http://www.smlw.pl/~wytnijto/nosrc/misc/gajim/before.png into this: http://www.smlw.pl/~wytnijto/nosrc/misc/gajim/after.png Patch is for 2006-05-08 snapshot. So you know, I still get this with 0.10 final (-2) on windows. It is definately tray related. Generally what happens is I see the tray icon change becuase of a new chat or message, I click the tray icon, then gajim crashes. The last entry in the log is this: DEBUG: dispatcher ok Got jabber:client/message stanza DEBUG: dispatcher ok Dispatching message stanza with type-> props->[u'jabber:client'] id->_1146603011 DEBUG: socket got <message from="flyspray(a)jabber.com/Flyspray" id="_1146603011" message removed)></message> DEBUG: dispatcher ok Got jabber:client/message stanza DEBUG: dispatcher ok Dispatching message stanza with type-> props->[u'jabber:client'] id->_1146603011 The size of the packet has no effect. If I can give you anything else, let me know. -- Andrew Diederich

Hello guys, <poor english> Gajim bugs I've listed using 0.10pre2 in a windowsXP system, after uninstalling 0.9.1. - after enter login data, gajim enters a "delay time" that: or takes many-many-many minutes before connect and show contact list, or it simply doesn't connect. - in message window, often one of the tags gets "freeze" and i can't close it even click hundreds of times in the "x". - after using for a certain time, suddenly one of my contacts start to send the same message without stop. i close the message, than it send it again. and again. and again. </poor english> :D dpadua On 4/19/06, Dawid Gajownik <gajownik(a)fedora.pl> wrote: > > Dnia 04/19/2006 02:11 PM, Użytkownik Le Boulanger Yann napisał: > > Hi all, > > Hi :) > > > The second pre-release for Gajim 0.10 is available here: > > > > http://www.gajim.org/downloads/gajim-0.10-pre2.tar.bz2 > > Packages for FC5 are here → http://fedora.pl/~gajownik/gajim/ > They should be also available soon in Fedora Extras Development > repository. > > Regards, > Dawid > -- > > ^_* > > _______________________________________________ > Gajim-devel mailing list > Gajim-devel(a)gajim.org > https://lists.gajim.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/gajim-devel >
