Hello Yann,
I had to do a little correction. See attached file.
Best regards, Nico

Hello Yann,
I finished the German translation. Please see the attached file.
Working on the translation I found out that some strings need to be normalized, e.g. JID and Jabber-ID. For the some thing the same string should be used to avoid confusion at the user side.
I suggest to normalize the strings. I would like to look into the normalization for the post 0.12 release. What do you and the other translators think about it?
Best regards, Nico

Thank you for your translation. Jonathan Schleifer is the maintainer of the german translation, and will look at your work.
Until he subscribes to this mailling list, I copy him this mail.
For yout help in reviewing Gajim strings, your help and patches are welcome !
Looks good!
There really is a lot of strange stuff in the German translation, a lot of it is fixed by your .po file :). For example "Löscht foobar" vs. "foobar löschen". It seems a previous translator didn't differentiate between commands and tooltips.
I only had a close look at about 32% of the diff against the translation in svn, at the rest I only had a quick look, as the diff was very huge (6843 lines).
I committed your translation and gave credits first, then did a few changes to it myself, see http://trac.gajim.org/changeset/10801 and http://trac.gajim.org/changeset/10803
One thing though: "Wenn akitiviert, " sounds a bit strage. Wouldn't be "Falls aktiviert " (notice there's no comma) better? I know, this wasn't introduced by you, but this is something bothering me so I want to have the opionon of other Germans what sounds better :).
PS: For some reason, I don't get a confirmation mail for the translators list.
Hello Jonathan,
see attached the fix for ticket #4558 [1].

Thanks for the corrections. I browsed through the whole translation yesterday night and found a lot of strange stuff.

That sounds better. I look into as soon as I find some more minutes ;-). Translation takes a lot of time, I never thought of.

Actually, your patch changes the wrong thing. Your patch changes the "Server features" button in the account creation wizard, which opens the server list on jabber.org in a browser, but gives a 404 (@asterix: Should we complain at XSF so they have a static URL for that or should we just include thew new URL?)

Ok :)
<de.po.gz>
Could you maybe attach a patch file instead next time? Saves us all bandwidth and we don't have to manually generate one then :).
