Question about procedure
by El Pirujo 04 Mar '19

04 Mar '19

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Hello all. I'd like to ask for a procedure to replicate strings from a po archive to other po archive. I saw that there are many strings pending in Gajim/es.po and same than strings already translated in Gajim1.1/es.po, so I did next steps: Download Gajim/es.po Rename to pending.po Rename already translated archive to translated.po Execute msgmerge translated.po pending.po -o output.po Output.po has same quantity of strings than pending.po but I think has equal string with translation from translated.po. I'm newbie to gettext tools and I'd like to have your opinion about the procedure I did. Strings no found
by El Pirujo 04 Mar '19

04 Mar '19

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Hello all. I've just completed Spanish translations for Gajim1.1, now I'm testing in my own Debian Testing installation (Gajim version 1.1.2), but I've found two strings (by the moment), not present in original po file: - - In a MUC, if you click a participant with right mouse button you'll get a menu and one option is "Information", I couldn't find this string as not translated string. - - In any chat, if you click in the lock icon, you'll get a menu to select the crypt option and one option is "Disable", I couldn't find this string as not translated string in po. What to do in this case? Translations for Gajim 1.1
by Yann Leboulanger 13 Oct '18

13 Oct '18

Dear translators, 1.1 release is on the road. We've released a beta2 version, which means that strings are now frozen. You can translate this new version on our translate website [1] If you have questions, you can see this wiki page [2] or ask on this list. Note that there are several translation projects: - gajim 1.1 is the project to translate for Gajim 1.1 - gajim is the project for the development version. It's too early to translate that for the moment. - gajim plugins 1.1 is the project to translate plugins for 1.1 version of Gajim. Don't hesitate to ask if you want to add your language - gajim website is the project for the website A great thanks in advance. L10N - French - Group chat
by Jean-Baptiste Holcroft 06 Sep '17

06 Sep '17

Hi there, I'm confused about the French translation, what would you like to use for Groupchat ? We currently use both "groupe de discussion" and "salon de discussion". Both are understandable, only jumping from one-another is confusing. Gajim's terminology looks closer to "groupe de discussion", but whatever you'll prefer. Thanks for your help, -- Jean-Baptiste Holcroft

Updated Polish translation.
by 34tg535＠tutanota.com 07 Feb '17

07 Feb '17

Hello, I updated Polish translation of gajim. I used the gajim-0.16.6-74824f0bd5d4 version of gajim, opened the pl.po file, translated and saved. I attach the pl.po file to this email. It probably should be merged with the newest version of the translation from gajim 0.16.7. I did improve many existing lines in that file too, so the changes are not only to untranslated lines, but also to the ones that were translated already. Regards.
