#54: After installation, the whiteboard plugin does not appear

 I use the PluginInstaller. When I select to download the whiteboard
 plugin, and click 'Install/Upgrade', it downloads the plugin ‒ the
 directory `.local/share/gajim/plugins/whiteboard` appears, there are files
 in it and the installer says all plugins were downloaded successfully.

 However, the whiteboard plugin does not appear in the list of installed
 plugins and the installed version column in available plugins is still
 empty. When I grep the output of gajim --verbose for `whiteboard`, nothing
 is found.

 I do have pygoocanvas installed (verified, if I run python and type
 `import goocanvas`, it produces no error).

 What may be wrong? I vaguely remember the plugin did work for me before.

 My gajim version is 0.15.3-961edbee221a (GTK+ Version: 2.24.17 PyGTK
 Version: 2.24.0).
