 Gajim don't receive the key you type when it's not the active window. So
 we cannot do the open from systram. Only DE can do that.

 For join groupchat, there is Ctrl+j from main window and /join from a
 groupchat window. That doesn't sound very intuitive to open join groupchat
 from a conversation window.

 for change global status, yes we could add a shortcut, tat can be done
 directly in Gajim no need of a plugin for that
