[Gajim-devel] Delayed update of the roster status

Good time of the day everyone,

When I want to ping a user who appears to be online, away etc., and double-click their roster item, they quite often drop down into the offline section.
Further down the road I find out from them that they have been offline for quite some time when I tried to ping them, even though I was staring at their green/amber/red icon for an hour beforehand.
Is the roster update not done on a regular basis? If it matters, I connect to Ignite OpenFire Jabber server over XMPP.
