Alex,
This sounds like the XMPP server needs fixing, not gajim. You can test that
by loading a different XMPP/jabber client and seeing if you get the same
response. "remote-server-not-found" means the XMPP server can't find or
connect to the JID (jabber ID) you're requesting.

describes that error. Maybe you changed the hostname or mistyped it when
you reinstalled the server?
