The bug is not resolved. I had no reply from py2exe guys. So I tried 
with cx_freeze, which gives the beta version. But it has problems with 
translations at least, which I'm not ablt to resolve for the moment. 
Using translation with gtk.Builder under windows is quite complicated, 
and for the moment it's not working correctly.

So yes there are reasons, and for the moment no success. Help welcome if 
you know what to do.
