Git wouldn't be so good for Gajim since it doesn't run on all platforms
Gajim runs on (git lacks Windows support - yes, I know of Cygwin, but
that doesn't count since it's a PITA to use Cygwin just for git).
Mercurial would be ideal, it's even written in the same language as
Gajim :)
