Does it happen  every time you log in?
Couls you open XML console (menu actions -> advanced -> your_account ->
Show XML console) to see what is so long ? Does it take many CPU duting
this time ?

Could you remove your file program files\Gajim\src\gajim.exe.log, and
next time it happens, open it to see if there is something in it and
sends us this file ?

Once again could you tell us what appear in the XML console when this
happen ? Is it always with the same contact ? What is the client of this
contact ?
